Fleeing the destruction of his home, Thomas finds himself alone in a world at war. Haunted by the difficult memories of his childhood and hunted by the remorseless mechanized armies of an evil power called Brazenhead, Thomas finds a path to his own salvation in the unlikeliest of places: music. Buoyed by unexpected friendship and a magical guitar, he struggles to survive an increasingly dangerous world. Ultimately, Thomas must confront the greatest enemy of all: the dispiriting pain in his own heart that he comes to know as the Blues.
